Getting started
From blank account to a turbine standing in 3D — this takes about five minutes, and the free tier covers all of it.
- 01
Create your account
Sign up with an email and password. Free accounts get one full project — every asset type, live 3D, CSV import. No credit card.
- 02
Create a project
On the dashboard, name your first project after the site — “Cheyenne Ridge Wind Farm” beats “Test 1” when the list grows.
- 03
Add your first asset
Pick a type (start with the wind turbine), then set where it stands: click the map, or paste coordinates — decimal or degrees-minutes-seconds both work.
- 04
Type the dimensions
Hub height, rotor diameter, and the rest — the 3D model rebuilds as you type, and derived facts like tip height update with it. Switch between meters and feet with the unit toggle.
- 05
Look around
Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom. The site view shows every asset in one 3D scene, with fly-to navigation to jump between them. An optional color tint helps a structure stand out.
- 06
Share or export
Share creates a read-only link anyone can open — no account needed. Export (Pro) produces the Google Earth KMZ.
Where things live
The dashboardlists your projects. Inside a project, the left panel edits the selected asset, the viewer shows it in 3D, and the toolbar holds import, share, and export. Deleting a project deletes every asset in it — there's no undo, and the app asks before doing it.
0 faces north, 90 faces east. It controls which way the structure faces in both the preview and Google Earth, which matters for dishes, H-frames, and anything asymmetric.Next steps
